Hotel Accommodations

There are fifteen rooms reserved at the conference rate at each of the two hotels, and 30 student rooms reserved at the dormitory. Please reserve and pay for your hotel rooms by Sunday June 5, at the latest to receive the conference rate. We cannot guarantee this rate or availability after that date.

This hotel is nearby the university on the East Hill of Ithaca, connected by TCAT bus #82 which departs every 10 minutes from the East Hill Shopping plaza during working hours. There is a self-serve complimentary breakfast with a few hot items, a microwave accessible at all hours, and a mini-frig in each room so if you want to shop at the nearby P&C you can store food in your room.

Hotel Ithaca is in downtown Ithaca, map here, connected by TCAT bus #10 which departs every 10 minutes from the Seneca Street station and many other buses which depart from Green Street, in front of the Tompkins County Public Library, which is across from the hotel, to go up the hill to Cornell. If you want a view ask for a room in the tower, or for 2 queen beds instead of a single king, ask for the ground floor level. Parking in the garage across the street is $7/night. There is a pub in the restaurant, Max’s Classic American Grill, and the wonderful restaurant Coltivare, featuring 'Farm to Bistro' cuisine, is right across the street. The city of Ithaca is home to many other restaurants and entertainment venues.

On-campus dormitory housing

Housing is available in an on-campus dormitory. Rooms are arranged in suites. Each suite includes 3 singles and a double. Conference attendees book through the Cornell Conference housing portal with Cornell Conference Services, who will fill the suites by gender and room type. The singles are $78, doubles are $55.

Hotel shuttles

The hotel shuttles can be scheduled to transport you to and from the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport and the conference but please arrange this with the front desk of the hotel. If you have transportation challenges or mobility disability please contact us for assistance. Cornell runs a CULift service and we will make arrangements to accommodate you.
